Last Will and Testament
Will of Elizabeth Kitts Blessing

Wythe County, Virginia
In the name of God amen, I ELIZABETH BLESSING of the county of Wythe being sick and weak in body but disposing mind and sound memory for which I thank God and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with.
I give and bequeath the same in the manner following, that is to say.
Item 1st. After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give to my brother PETER KETTS and his family all my weaving cloths forever.
2ndly. I give to my nephew ANDREW KETTS one feather bed and all the clothing that belongs to the said bed it being the bed on which I commonly lay. Also one black cow with a white face, 14 yards of cotton cloth, 4 Dozen of spun wollen yarn to him and his heirs forever.
3dly. I give to my nephew JACOB KETTS one stove to him and his heirs forever.
4thly. I give to my nephew HENRY KETTS all the rest of my estate of what material or hand sown it may be not herein before particularly disposed of to him and his heirs forever.
And lastly I do hereby appoint my friend JACOB CLINE executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other or former wills or testaments by me heretofore made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this first day of January One Thousand Eight Hundred & Twenty five 1825.
